Mr. A N M Fazlul Karim Munshi joined as the Chief Executive Officer of Karnaphuli Insurance Co. Ltd. in November 2016. He is also a nominated member of the Board of Karnaphuli Insurance Co. Ltd. and Meghna Life Insurance Co. Ltd. Mr. Munshi has more than 32 years of experience within the Insurance industry in business, marketing and administration. Prior to joining as CEO, Mr.Fazlul Karim Munshi was the Additional Managing Director and Head of Marketing of Karnaphuli Insurance Co. Ltd. He joined the company in 1987 as an Assistant Officer and served the same company holding different key positions for the last 30 years with honesty and integrity.
Mr. Fazlul Karim Munshi completed his BSS (Hons) and MSS degree in Economics from Jagannath University. He is a Life Member of the Bangladesh Economic Association (BEA) and Bangladesh Young Economist Association (BYEA). He comes from a respected Muslim family.
Mr. Munshi has traveled extensively at home and overseas for the purpose of business; attended various training courses and seminars on re-insurance and other insurance affairs.
Mr. Munshi is married with one son and one daughter.
